Listed below are those non-club photo competitions that one or more of the Competitions Group’s members has identified. A very brief synopsis of the requirements, dates, formats, and a link to more information (either a website or a publication) is included.
(As background, the Competitions Interest Group is open to all members of the Photography Club who are willing to participate in outside competitions on a regular basis, but not necessarily in ALL of the below listed competitions. Those who attend the Competitions Interest Group meetings are expected to bring an image or images to each meeting for serious comment by the rest of the group. (Translated: this means that the group is not a “spectator sport,” but is a mutual assistance group of people who are willing to help and be helped.))
Our goal is to meet from 3 to 5 pm on the 4th Wednesday of each month in the VAC Studio.
